Abbreviations for Seniors
Every so often someone asks for a list of abbreviations that are sometimes used on the forum. In order to keep the list short, this list is just for seniors. I received this in an email...source unknown. Since Seniors are texting and tweeting,

Keeping wildlife out of the garden
Hi, I'm new to the forum, this is my first garden and I don't want to go through all of the hardships in regards to animals so I'm planning on enclosing my entire garden in a 24' X 24' square 8' tall cage (with top). We are planning to use 1/2"

Keeping chickens out of your garden beds
I don't know if a lot of people have this problem, but I'm thinking my free-rangers are going to look at my newly seeded, painstakingly prepared SFG boxes and think: OOOOH!!! DUST BATH!!!! And ruin all my beautiful new seedlings. I'm thinking I may nee

What are you keeping?
Not everyone has a signature and I just put up one. However, it is nice to know what everyone is keeping. If for no other reason to know where to find certain things when looking for them. Post everything you are keeping.

Yeast, Allergies and Other ickies.
I have two dogs with significant allergies--food, seasonal and contact. Neither can tolerate kibble for long due to their allergies to many plants and botanicals--so the really good kibbles are actually worse for them due to all the botanicals in them.

I'm a sucker for Seniors (and my Hubby's a saint!)
Sooooooo...I get an email from a very good "rescue friend" in MO. She sounded a little more desperate than her usual correspondance, so I gave her a call. It seems there is a lovely, senior Pug girl - a puppy mill survivor, 9-10 years old, diminished

Hello from Sweden... Again
My name is Sonny, i'm 44 years old and I work as a manager/administrator at a Fordcompany. First of all, I'm maybe a little conservative beacuse I'm still using the name Trimeresurus instead of Cryptelytrops, Viridovipera and so on... My passion
