I planted a six pack of what were labled bunching onions sometime in the fall (need to improve my record keeping this year). Today I dug down a few inches by one of them and can see no bulb, and my impression was that they were going to be like scallions.
Ok, I really can’t tell, is this broccoli ready to harvest? Or maybe even a bit too late? The blossom / head is about 5 inches in diameter, I was expecting it to get much larger. But then maybe it depends on the variety?
