180 gallon Reef build.

there seems to be some interest here about Reef Aquariums
so I thought I would start a thread on one of our builds to help others get an idea
of whats involved. this is a 180 gallon reef ready tank with dual corner overflows and a homemade 75 gallon sump/fuge.

My 15 gallon reef.
Thought I would share this with you guys over here MY NANO REEF TANK. That documents pretty much the entire life of the tank, but here some more recent pictures for ya'll.

Alright, just got back from petco. Picked up some live sand and a 2 pound live rock. 11 bucks for the rock what a tipoff. I didn't have a choice though, unfortunately. Also picked up a little blue legged hermit crab. Put the sand in, an the rock.

Strikingthematch 280 Gallon Build
Well not much to show just yet but I finally took the plunge and got a BIG tank. (to me at least!) Found a CL deal on a 280 gallon "reef ready" tank. This is by far the biggest tank I have ever owned at 72x30x30. It was a custom built tank
