Hamburg Mattenfilter (Standard)

Here is a standard mattenfilter that I put together a few days ago. They are simple to make and work amazingly well. As the lift tubes pump water over the sponge wall, the water in the tank is forced thru the sponge where the lift tubes then pump it back over the wall again. Simple and efficient Twisted Evil .

The Hamburg Mattenfilter is basically a sponge wall inside the tank with either lift tubes or a powerhead to displace the water. In a typical Mattenfilter set up, the sponge wall is placed at the end of the tank leaving just enough room for the lift tubes
Ok so i ran across this method of filteration after following a link that was provided for a foam tank divider... And saw the hamburger mattenfilter... If you are not familiar with it as i wasnt as well... Its like a sponge filter but more efficient..
After the birth, and after they've molted, is it ok to put the babies into pots with lids on them while i clean it out and then put them back in?

Hi, I can't seem to find any connections in November, December and January going from London Stansted to Hamburg Lubeck. Does this route no longer exist? Thank you for any information.
