Camping With Dogs: Ute Pass, Colorado

Heh, there's not much to speak of on this outing. We camped at Ute Pass and tried hiking Ute Peak to no avail. There was a sign at the trailhead that stated a mere 5.5 miles to the Ute Peak Summit. Pfft. There's not much to say about this trip. We circled the sub-treeline mound trying to find any hint of a trail. We never found one. It was just trees followed by more fallen trees. We hiked, then turned around for camp and ate once we all gathered
