The Swamp Guppy


Micropoecilia picta is a closely related to the guppy. It can be found in Trinidad, Guyana, and Brazil. Their habitats are drainage ditches, and canals. M picta inhabits both fresh, and brackish water, but it is said that they are more commonly found in brackish. M picta is related to the Guppy, but won't hybridize as Endlers will. This fish is still relatively new
